Input Devices

Information is entered into a computer through input devices.An input device converts input information into suitable form acceptable to a computer.It is considered as a means whereby the user can communicate with the computer.The data are fed through the input devices which translates it to the computer so that the computer can respond.The commonly used input devices is keyboard.Examples of  other input devices are: Mouse, Joystick, light pen, Graphic table,Touch screen,Trackball etc.
Keyboards:- One of the common example of input device is the keyboard.The data and programs are entered into a computer's memory through a keyboard.The keyboard is connected to a microcomputer or terminal of mainframes and minicomputers.The keyboard of the computer is similar to the keyboard of a typewriter.
