Drawbacks of First Generation Computers

First Generation Computers had the following major drawbacks:

1. Because of the vacuum tubes, they had heat and maintenance problems.
2. First Generation Computers had no facility for linking programs.
3. Writing programs for logical and non-numeric problems was difficult.
