AT Computers

The computers which have 80286 micro processor are called AT (Advanced Technologies) computers. AT computers are faster than X.T. computers The memory capacity of AT computer is large i.e. the R.A.M.(Random Access Memory). They can run latest versions of the software.The higher capacity AT computers have the micro processor 80383 S.X or 80386 D.X, 80486 S.X, 80486 D.X  or even Pentium(i.e.80586). The processing speed is very high in the latest AT computers. The AT  computer having Pentium as its processor have processing speed more than 100 M.h.z. The AT computer have additional provision to keep Co-processor which helps in the processing of higher mathematical operations or complex mathematical calculations in short time. The function of Co-processor is to enhance the processing capability of the main processor or micro processor. There are six types of Advanced Technologies(AT) computers and size of RAM, Processing speed are as follows :
